Troubleshooting

Most issues with your Music Unit can be solved easily by following the steps below:

  1. "Power Cycle" your music unit. This can be done by removing the power cord from the outlet and waiting a few moments. Once 10 - 15 seconds have passed, plug your unit back in.
  2. Check all of the cords to be sure they are firmly connected to the unit. All of our music units have three cords; 1. Power 2. Audio Output 3. Antenna / Network
  3. Verify your music unit and your music system are plugged in and turned on.
  4. Check the volume on your music system.
  5. If you are using a commercial grade amplifier, "Power Cycle" your amplifier.
  6. If these steps fail to resolve your issue, please contact Voice Solutions.
  7. If you find yourself "Power Cycling" your amplifier over and over again please contact Voice Solutions.

Most issues with your Messaging On-Hold Unit can be resolved by following the steps below:

For units without speakers call in to your business, do not call from an extension, and place yourself on hold. Adjust the volume while listening on hold.
  3. If you cannot hear your message, "Power Cycle" your message unit by unplugging the power cord from its outlet for a few moments. Once 10-15 seconds have passed, plug the unit back in.
  4. Check that all the cords on your music unit have a good firm connection.
  5. If these steps fail to resolve your issue please contact Voice Solutions.
